Mission and Philosophy
Our Lady of Mercy School guides and inspires the child to be Christ in the World. Preparing future leaders for our church and global community, we promote academic excellence and Catholic values in all aspects of the educational process.
Our Lady of Mercy School's philosophy is to provide a service to all individuals associated with the school by developing their physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual qualities in preparation for their future leadership as Christ in the world.
The following values from the mission are the expression of who we are and who we want to be. They shape the way we act, the priorities we establish and the choices we make.
Love: The community of Our Lady of Mercy School represents the inherent worth of each person as created and gifted by God and believes that love of self must first be developed in order to overflow into love of others.
Compassionate Collaboration: The community of Our Lady of Mercy School fosters the ability to praise, to encourage, to stimulate, to extend kindness to others, and to listen as a community.
Excellence: The community of Our Lady of Mercy School is committed to truthfulness and creative leadership to provide the highest quality of service.
Responsibility: The community of Our Lady of Mercy School continually develops and enhances each member's self worth (personally and professionally) in order to use these skills as an opportunity to educate others.
